Laura Linney (born on February 5, 1964 in New York New York U.S.A.) has been an American Actress best known as an incredibly strong and vulnerable character. Linney was born into an theatre-loving family, with her father Romulus Linney was a playwright. Linney studied at the Arts Theatre School at Moscow before graduating with an M.F.A. from Juilliard School. New York City, 1990. The actress began performing in the city on Broadway receiving awards for roles such as Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
